About BCHDI.
Biire Community Health and Development Initiative (BCHDI), formerly Biire Child & Maternal Health Foundation, was established in 2010 in response to the numerous challenges associated with multidimensional poverty within vulnerable households and communities in Nigeria. These challenges are primarily socio-eco nomic in nature: inadequate or non-existent access to quality healthcare, education, nutrition, and clean water. Our organizational goals therefore aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, enabling us to implement international best practices while adapting interventions to address the unique needs of local communities.
